Through rhyming and animal identification, Tortoise says “goodbye” 20 different ways. And you’ll be using them, too. Emma’s illustrations are excellent, and she gives your child a fun look at what a gnu or an ant eater might look like. Please know you’ll now be using the same phrasing to say “goodbye” to one another. How fun!
Dr. Seuss’s ABC (Beginners Book)
This book was launched by Dr. Seuss in 1957, along with the publication of the ever popular The Cat in the Hat. Dr. Seuss wanted kids to start reading early and recognize the letters of the alphabet. It was easy with fun sayings and illustrations for each letter. My favorite was “N” and “U”. Also in this series is Dr Seuss’s 1,2, 3 and Dr.Seuss’s Book of Colors (the Bright & Early Books) – all with his memorable rhymes and playful illustrations sure to be remembered in your child’s thinker.
Dr. Seuss wrote over 60 books. Green Eggs and Ham has only 50 words. His last book was Oh, The Places You’ll Go! …After his death (1991) a partial manuscript and illustrations were discovered in a box in his home in La Jolla. What Pet Should I Get? was published in 2015. Can you tell I adore Dr. Seuss?
